The utter inability of the more extreme left to organise itself coherently is an excellent worked example, the "Peoples' Front for Judea", the "Judean Peoples' Front" etc. are funny because of the inherent truth therein. You are not so very far wrong ... in the manner of General Patton, the job is to protect democracy - not to practice it. The problem comes when the leader (as in Farage) is incompetent, and surrounds himself with sycophants and incompetents. It he is going to be a "Stalinist" dictator, then he needs to be a good one. A good leader transcends differences and is able to unite fractious people to achieve a common goal. They are often good strategists, and also display wisdom and insight. This combination of talents is rare which is why real leaders are so seldom seen. It is also probably considerably innate, a natural ability that cannot be taught, which is why all these organisations that teach leadership don't actually produce any decent leaders. Quote:...David Cameron, who has shown he can listen, adapt and do what is right for the country, not just for personal gain From the sub-prime to the ridiculous in one vault of the greasy pole. You jumped aboard the Tory train crash too late for Eastleigh, love. Never mind, there'll be another by-election along soon enough. Let's hope your celebrity status, shoe-in potential and public display of Arslikhan is big enough for iDave's ego, eh? Edited by user 24 February 2013 05:42:37(UTC)
