It wasn't all bad yesterday ... the global warming lay deep and thick and even, under a glorious sun. We rarely see such perfection. View full article here

Winters caress, is sometimes withered drear but on occasion it descends scintillant on bleak prospect.
I feel that I know that location - and it's causing me to wrack my memory. Of course, it could be taken in Manningham park - in which case - maybe but I think it is somewhere else [I've been wrong before....oh certainly I have].
Harrogate, maybe?

Could it be? All that black and white does tend to make everything look alike, though! The very old memory it's evoked for me is of a long bus journey we took as Physio students ... to and from our first visit to observe a secure Mental Hospital. Bleak and revelationary it was, all in one day. Cold, too.

It's not until spring that one finds the corpses of those frozen, as they fell in a drunken stupor in the pursuit of a new reality.

Quote:Ravenscar! The Stray? Could it be? That's what I wuz thinking but.....you know maybe not. I used to have a friend who lived near the Stray - we spent many devoted and happy hours kicking hell out each other and a leather panel football with the local kids - who didn't like me cos I came from elsewhere - dahn t'road.
