You've got to wonder how much good pronouncements from Branson, Mandelson, Clegg, the US government etc, do for the cause they are trying to promote.
Anything Van Rompuy says has people spitting nails, even if it's sensible. E.g. His recent statement that there was no scope for Cameron's renegotiation was interpreted by many as the EU 'kicking Britain around' and 'interfering in British politics'.
The withdrawalist side isn't without its share of own goal scorers either.

Then there was Barroso, averring that the problems for the zero were nearly over....
Idiot.
ON the Brixit and the EU..................
Still, with Branson on the case, Obama saying it's a good idea and now Clogg - what could possibly go wrong?

Meanwhile in LalaEU land, they've been bashing small business for 40 years, bureaucratic red tape always favours the big boys and doesn't the corporate world just love the EU? Guess what, red tape and rules and regulations impede greatly the setting up of small business and enterprise........... Ummm.. Quote: As Europe struggles to deal with high levels of unemployment, the authorities in Brussels believe that the key to economic growth is encouraging many more people to set up a business.
The European Union's industry commissioner, Antonio Tajani, is preparing plans for a new drive to boost business start-ups, but are such official initiatives well placed to create new companies and bring new jobs?
"the key to economic growth is encouraging many more people to set up a business."Is this. a hallelujah moment? A revelation within the EU? How come it took them two generations to realise this evident truth? Small wonder this is happening and it [the euro] is crippling the Greek economy, how much more can the Greeks take of this?

Well the euro enthusiast cause is certainly being ineptly defended. Let's see if anybody notices.

Well the euro enthusiast cause is certainly being ineptly defended. Let's see if anybody notices. I think a lot of it goes on at a sub-rational level. When did Branson do anything that wasn't solely for Branson? Who would trust or believe Mandelson? Van Rompuy! The US government is saying things for its reasons not ours, they have previous. We heard it all before with Black Friday and the UK economy took off after we left the ERM. The same people telling us it would be fatal not to join the Euro are now telling us it would be fatal to leave the EU.
