Apologies to those of you who found it difficult to get onto the site earlier today. This was a server fault - not us guv - which has now been resolved. These things happen from time-to-time, and extremely frustrating they are. But, with luck, we'll get a clear run for a while. View full article here

Richard, and your family, while I have the opportunity - I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy and productive New Year. Thanks for all your collective efforts over the past year; I hope you will continue the fight for many years to come. Oh, and when you speak to Mr Booker, please pass on the same sentiments to him. regards
john

I'm glad to hear that there was no serious reason for the problems earlier. Over here in West Pondia, similar situations sometimes occur when "Law Enforcement" is displeased with one's actions. ISPs understand their existence can be undone if "Law Enforcement" dislikes their actions, and voluntarily do whatever they are asked. Just as the gun dealers in the Fast and Furious treason knew what would happen to their businesses if they declined to sell guns to the straw buyers as they were told by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives. it is good to see that your nation is apparently not that far gone.
Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Keep stickin' it to the Man!

Panic over. EURef is not down.
Your constant analysis of all that counts would have been greatly missed.
Merry Christmas to you and yours and thank you so much for your logic, reasoning and most of all for your empathy.

I tried to come here earlier to no avail. Was it perhaps something to with the Mayans jumping the gun?
