North senior has decided to slack off for the evening by checking himself into Bradford Royal Infirmary. He claims there are some minor post-operation complications, but I suspect the truth of the matter is that Mrs Eureferendum is away in Scotland and he may have had a panic attack at the thought of cooking for himself. He has no plans to shuffle loose of the mortal coil and there are no signs of imminent demise, so you can expect him back on the blog in due course.

You may have to tolerate a post later on from myself or Helen instead.

Best wishes to Dr North...he has been quiet around these parts recently which now is understandable (though now feel sorry for the nurses at Bradford Royal Infirmary BigGrin )

Best wishes.

Is the panic about cooking, or the eating of the results of the cooking?

concerned, enquiring minds etc.

Hope all complications are speedily simplified and Richard returns to regale us with a great tale about the care in the hospital (and of course, meal issues) in the not too distant future.

Get yourself sorted out pronto Richard.....then takea few minutes off on a Cordon Bleu course in case Mrs. EUReferendum hies north of the border again. She can't be there for the food which I understand is marginally worse than Portugal's.
Clean bill of health soon, please.

Best wishes, Dr. North. I hope you are feeling much better soon. Take your time and allow your family and freinds to take care of you. When you feel ready, I am sure that you will be back in "full snarl mode."

Needless to say best wishes Richard for a speedy discharge. Do we need to move the meeting up north? (no pun intended)

Works too hard and still a driven man, I do respect your enthusiasm, dedication and determination [brains tooLOL ] but sometimes Richard - you've got to think of No.1. and of your immediate famille.

Ease up lad and take your time a bit more.

Godspeed to you sir.

Richard - This seems a bit of an extreme way to get out of cooking but I send you best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Peter - If there is any way you feel I could help please let me know.

Take care Richard, remember to do what the doctors tell you (that'll probably be a first!)
We want you fighting-fit and grouchy as usual so take as much time as you need.
