It
seems that in the Philippines "the Moslem fighters of two rogue MILF commanders, are beginning to desert or surrender to the army". They are not happy about the pay and conditions. Specifically, they are not happy about the fact that the army's intervention prevents them from looting Christian villages, something they had been promised when they joined up.
