extraordinaire Tim Lang, formerly of the London Food Commission. He wants us to cut back meat and dairy consumption. In the early eighties, it was to reduce animal "suffering", in the late eighties and early nineties, it was to reduce food-related disease. Now it is to save the planet - different reason, same cause.
It only needs a two-word response, and the second one is "off".
